AFS provides convenient access to fingerprint based background checks, both in the workplace and in our offices with flexible hours available to fit your busy work schedule. We also provide a rolled fingerprint service for your convenience and can also scan and submit your rolled BCI&I or FBI print cards.

   AFS performs non-fingerprint based background checks for the public.  For example, if you are a landlord and want to know about a potential tenant's credit or rental history we can get that information for you.  Are you interviewing a nanny or babysitter for your children?  AFS can look into their driving, criminal and employment histories.  In either case, imagine the peace of mind that goes along with knowing with whom you're dealing.

   Advanced Fingerprinting Services (AFS) offers fingerprint & non-fingerprint based background check services to the members of the public and business communities.  The Ohio Revised Code (ORC), various federal legislation and many government agencies require certain individuals in many occupations and individuals applying for licensure or certification issued by many State of Ohio boards to submit their fingerprints for a criminal records background check completed by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI&I) and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

   Did you know?: On October 9, 1998 the Volunteers for Children Act was signed into law as Public Law 105-251, amending the National Child Protection Act of 1993.  This law affects any business or organization providing care, treatment, education, training, instruction, supervision, or recreation for children, the elderly, or individuals with disabilities... whether public, private, for-profit, non-profit, or voluntary.  With this in mind, AFS uses its mobile capabilities to go to churches, schools and other group functions to make it convenient for organizations that deal with children on any basis to comply with this important piece of legislation.
